Turning Struggle Into Strength
The Tommy Gun Grant was created in honor of a close friend whose life reminded us that strength is about more than weights—it’s about showing up for yourself even when life feels heavy.
This grant exists for transitional age youth (18–24) who are navigating at-risk situations and doing the hard work to move forward. It’s for individuals facing challenges like sobriety, housing insecurity, or financial hardship—barriers that often stand in the way of growth and opportunity.
What the Grant Provides
The Tommy Gun Grant helps offset the costs that can keep young adults from stepping into strength:
Coaching & Training Fees
Gym Memberships
Competition Costs
Equipment & Supplies
By removing these financial barriers, we create a pathway for young people to focus on what matters most: building confidence, discipline, and resilience.
Why It Matters
For someone fighting to rebuild their life, the weight of financial stress can be just as heavy as any barbell. The Tommy Gun Grant is our way of saying: We see you. We believe in you. We’ll stand with you as you take the next rep in your journey.
This grant doesn’t just provide access to physical training—it offers access to community, mentorship, and the kind of support system that can make long-term success possible.
Partnering With Gyms & Coaches
We partner with coaches and gyms throughout California who understand that strength training is more than sport—it’s a tool for survival, confidence, and growth. Together, we ensure each grant recipient has a safe space, trusted mentors, and the resources they need to succeed.
If you’re a coach or gym owner and are interested in offering resources, please contact us.
